Proxy Connection Times Out After Adding Own Proxy

Cause: Incorrect proxy IP/port, missing username/password for authenticated proxies, or local firewall blocking the proxy connection.
Solution:

  • Verify the proxy details format (IP:Port:Username:Password).
  • Disable the firewall or add SharkLogin to the firewall whitelist.
  • Test the proxy in a different network environment to confirm its functionality.

Third-Party API Proxy Fails to Retrieve IP, Showing “Interface Returns Exception”Cause: Incorrect API extraction link, expired third-party proxy service, or extraction frequency exceeding API limits.
Solution:

  • Check if the API link is correct (try opening it directly in a browser to test).
  • Confirm the third-party proxy service is still active and within its validity period.
  • Reduce the extraction frequency (e.g., set to “extract once every 5 minutes”).

Website Shows “IP Blocked” After Binding Proxy to EnvironmentCause: The proxy IP is flagged as suspicious by the target website (e.g., shared by multiple users or previously used for prohibited actions).
Solution:

  • In “Proxy Management,” switch to a new proxy IP.
  • Opt for “static proxies” or “residential proxies” (less likely to be blocked).
  • Avoid high-frequency operations under the same proxy.

Official Proxy Purchase Fails to Import, Showing “Authorization Failed”Cause: The account used for purchasing the proxy doesn't match the client login account, or the order hasn't been activated.
Solution:

  • Ensure the client login account matches the account used to purchase the proxy.
  • Check in “Personal Center → Order Management” on the official website (sharklogin.com) to confirm the order is activated.
  • Download the latest client version and try again.
